Die Propheten: Eine eigene Geschichte ist auch die Art und Weise, wie sich nach verbreiteter Auffassung Propheten begruessen sollen: Dir gehts gut - und wie gehts mir?
I know when I step back on the plane things wont be the same. (El Salvador, Phil Joel)
16 Biblical ways to aquire a wife: Some tips for you "guys" out there. · Find an attractive prisoner of war, bring her home, shave her head, trim her nails, and give her new clothes. Then she's yours. -- Deuterononmy (Deuteronomy 21:11-13)
· Find a prostitute and marry her.
-- Hosea (Hosea 1:1-3)
· Find a man with seven daughters, and impress him by watering his flock.
-- Moses (Exodus 2:16-21)
· Purchase a piece of property, and get a woman as part of the deal.
-- Boaz (Ruth 4:5-10)
· Go to a party and hide. When the women come out to dance, grab one and carry her off to be your wife.
-- Benjaminites (Judges 21:19-25)
· Have God create a wife for you while you sleep. Note: this will cost you a rib.
-- Adam (Genesis 2:19-24)
· Agree to work seven years in exchange for a woman's hand in marriage. Get tricked into marrying the wrong woman. Then work another seven years for the woman you wanted to marry in the first place. That's right. Fourteen years of toil for a woman.
-- Jacob (Genesis 29:15-30)
· Cut off 200 foreskins off of your future father-in-law's enemies and get his daughter for a wife.
-- David (1Samuel 18:27)
· Even if no one is out there, just wander around a bit and you'll definitely find someone. (It's all relative of course.)
-- Cain (Genesis 4:16-17)
· Become the emperor of a huge nation and hold a beauty contest.
-- Xerxes or Ahasuerus (Esther 2:3-4)
· When you see someone you like, go home and tell your parents, "I have seen a ...woman; now get her for me." If your parents question your decision, simply say, "Get her for me. She's the one for me."
-- Samson (Judges 14:1-3)
· Kill any husband and take HIS wife. (Prepare to lose four sons though).
-- David (2 Samuel 11)
· Wait for your brother to die. Take his widow. (It's not just a good idea, it's the law).
-- Onan and Boaz (Deuteronomy or Leviticus, example in Ruth)
· Don't be so picky. Make up for quality with quantity.
-- Solomon (1 Kings 11:1-3)
· A wife?...NOT!!!
-- Paul (1Corinthians 7:32-35)
· Become sinless, and die in atonement for others, and you can marry a whole bunch of people.
-- Jesus (Revelation 15?)
Most things on my site i have found. This story though is something i wrote myself. I usually don't write down things i think about partly because they are crazy or weird, and party because I don't write very good. But looking at this I am surprised that i actually wrote it myself.
One day God was up there in heaven and he was forming a human. He made him a male, and he started planning what would be the best plan for his life and where he needed him to be to serve him. He was forming the man, and planning and smiling at how he would serve God, and occasionally wiping a tear away from the pain the man would cause him, but then he laughed when he imagined the man growing up taking his first steps, learning to ride a bike, a young boy, then a teenager, then a young man.
He was still forming the man, he was not yet conceived , and then God got an excited gleeful look on his face. He kept on forming the man but at the same time he started another formation. This formation was similar yet extremely different, occasionally he would observe the man formation and then add a small detail to the other formation. Slowly the second formation became a woman. Not just any woman, but the woman made for this man. She for he, him for her. And yet even before she was conceived, God was detailingly planning out her life, who her parents would be, where she would live, and how she was going to serve him.
God kept planning and planning, he was getting more and more excited, occasionally shouting,
theyll never believe it!
or Oh, she will love that!
and He loves it when I do that!
But then Gods brow furrowed, hmmmm he thought, not out of frustration, why, God need not ever be frustrated. But out of consideration, because he had so many wonderful ideas, and so many great plans that he wasnt sure exactly which one to use next.
Finally it came time for the man and woman to be conceived. God looked down on earth to the parents he had picked for the man and sent him into the womb of the mans mother.
Then the God looked down again on the other side of the earth at the womans parents, he also sent her into her mothers womb.
But God wasnt finished planning, he had barely started. For a human it would have been called a challenge, like having to beginnings to a maze and letting the man and woman start at just the precisely right time, so that they would at a certain point eventually meet.
But for God it wasnt a challenge more like a game where everybody wins. Or like God is the suprize birthday planner, knowing just exactly what cake to bake, games to play, and presents to buy.
Finally God is planning for the man, and his plans meet with the womans plans. And like a double helix he starts intertwining them together ever so carefully, like DNA bonded together with hydrogen, he binds them together with his holy spirit. Like the opposite bases that come together bonded to form one link in the DNA chain, the man and woman came together bounded by the holy ghost to form one spirit. Two intertwined became one.
My friend song by:Phil Joel
My Friend We are standing at the crossroads And now it’s time
For you to go your way
And me to go mine
I will pray the Lord
Will keep you safe
Until the day I see your face again
My friend
We have been through so much
And you have been my Godsend
With your sure and steady love
My friend
You know I will be there
If you ever need
Cause you’ve always
Been a friend to me
I may travel the world over
But one thing I know for sure
One day this road will lead me
Back round to your door
I will pray the Lord
Will keep you safe
Some bonds are just too strong
To break in the end
Nothing will change the way
I feel about you
Not the miles or the years
Or the place this life takes me to
